Golden Moments | Maternity Photography

I simply could not wait to share this blog. The story behind these magical photographs is a story of fate. Siobhan was the lucky winner of my instagram competition that I ran for mothers day. It could not be more fitting that she was the winner, as she is a mommy to be. What a special prize to win and on mothers day. She decided to use her free session to book a maternity photoshoot with her husband and baby bump 😉

The day finally arrived. We took a drive out to one of my favourite location only to find out that it had been lock up due to Covid. Then we had to take a further drive to another one of my favourite spots to ensure that we had the right setting for the photoshoot. Luckily, we arrived just in time for the sun set.

Nick & Siobhan jumped into the long dry grass and we began to capture their special moments with a beautiful winter golden sunset. Five minutes into the session I just knew that this was perfect. It was as though everything was meant to be and came together perfectly. Nick & Siobhan were so relax and real that it was so easy to photograph all the natural and real moments between them. What fun, we had such an amazing time. Before we knew it the sun dropped and the light turned from gold to pink to blue. We started rounding up the session with a few moody shots.

I could not be happier for Nick and Siobhan to have won the prize. It was definitely meant to be.
