The word authentic comes to mind when I look back and think about Dale and Mel’s photoshoot. A fun filled, real moments kind of engagement photoshoot that resulted in stunning moments caught on camera. Dale and Mel decided to do their photo session on the beach as it is a sentimental spot for them.  I love it when couples make their photo sessions an expression of themselves. Staying true to who you are as a couple and being in an environment where you are most comfortable always results in the best natural moments.

I always encourage couples who are planning a photo session to try incorporate something that has sentimental value to them. It may be the coffee shop that you had your first date in or the matching converse shoes that you wear. There are so many unique things that speak to you as a couple. Whatever it is, include it in your photoshoot as it will be a photoshoot that is tailored and special to you.

Above all, be true to yourselves. Through out the session Dale and Mel shared whispered jokes, cuddles and silly moments together. You know, the kind of moments only you and your partner get. Those unscripted beautiful moments. These real moments make the best photographs.

 I can not wait to capture the moments between these two on their big day.
