The Roux Family

I have had the absolute privilege of documenting the Roux families special life events over the years. I feel truly honored to have been the photographer who captured the special moments as their family grew. From family photoshoots to the maternity photo shoot as well as capturing both their children’s newborn photo shoots. I am so grateful to have documented this amazing family’s life story.

The latest photoshoot in the series is that of little Alex. The sweetest little boy. The lifestyle photoshoot took place at home where Alex felt most comfortable. We decided to get a few relaxed photographs of the family interacting around the house. I love photographs like this. They are so real and so natural. A true look into a day, in the life of the Rouxs. This to me is what true lifestyle photography is about. Small details and real moments.

Along with these natural photographs we decided to mimic a few of the newborn photographs we captured of Ava (Alex’s sister) when we did her newborn session. And I mean really mimic, down to the same teddy bear and the same blanket etc. It was amazing. Talk about déjà vu 😉 I thought this was such a great idea and the comparison between the two little babies was simply incredible.

Well, what more can I say? The newborn photographs of baby Alex and family are just the cutest. A huge thank you must go out to The Roux family. Thank you so much for all your love and support over the years. It has been an absolute honor being your family photographer. I look so forward to watching your family grow and documenting your adventures along the way.
